We met on a dating app for lesbians only, called HER. Lindsey was about to call it quits and focus on her work, but then Katie made an account just to see what was out there. Katie was living in Payson, AZ for another week on a work contract before she was about to move in with her parents for 6 months only. Lindsey sent her a message. We chatted all week, but couldn't meet because Katie was in Payson and it was the week of Thanksgiving. Finally we agreed to meet for a hike on Sunday. We walked and talked for 6miles (Katie secretly had blisters), got lost, and somehow managed to come out at the end wanting to spend more time together. We went out for lunch after our hike and the rest is history.

Lindsey proposed to Katie. She sent her to Laine and Jane's house for brunch. They, being great friends, fed Katie and then started the day off with a puzzle Lindsey had made. The puzzle was a photo of the two of them from a hiking trip. They also gave Katie a word puzzle to solve. The puzzle led to Lindsey's parents house where a word search awaited her. The word search led her to a bench she used to sit on before they went running together in the early days of dating. A friend was there with another puzzle, this one a nanogram. The answer sent Katie to her parents house where a video of her neice told her to head to the restaurant they had their 3rd date at. The restaurant host, sent Katie on a walk to the park where they had their first kiss. Lindsey had already given Katie little notes at each stop along the way so Katie already knew all the wonderful things she had to say. When Katie walked up, Lindsey said many more wonderful things and got down on one knee to ask "Will you marry me?" Katie said "Of course!"
