The south, especially in Louisiana, is well known for their cuisine! In Lafayette we have many different kinds of restaurants to cater to any needs/ wants! Just take a moment to do a quick search of what you feel like eating and there will be restaurant available near by!
At Rock-N-Bowl Friday night a popular Cajun artist Wayne Toups will be playing if you're itching to hear some good Cajun music!
If you are looking for day time activities there is downtown with many local bars and sights to see. For anyone feeling more adventurous there are Swamp/ Alligator tours held at Lake Martin or Mcgee's landing in Henderson (ask for Emily).
We have my Alma Mater University of Louisiana at Lafayette that has a beautiful campus filled with huge oak trees, graduations bricks, a Fleur de Lis fountain in the quad and even a cat walk into the middle of the school swamp with the gators!
