Where will the Ceremony & Reception be held?

Answer

Both the Ceremony and the Reception will be held at Le Barn Rouge in Lafayette, La.

What do I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be Cocktail/ Semi-formal attire. Our venue is Barn themed so boots are highly encouraged!

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The Ceremony will be held outside in the courtyard area with seating in the grass, while the Reception will be held inside with the courtyard still available for anyone who needs to cool off from dancing!

Are kids allowed at the Wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we ask that you keep your little ones at home so everyone can enjoy a relaxing and fun night! Thank you for your understanding and for keeping our wedding adult-only!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since we are getting married in South Louisiana there is no predicting the weather! We hope that it is a nice sunny and 75 but it very much could be a cool, crisp 45. We ask that leading up to the event you check the weather app for any weather updates!

Can I bring a Guest?

Answer

We are on a strict budget and guest list for our wedding and ask that only those who are invited on the RSVP list attend.

Can I take pictures of the Wedding?

Answer

We ask that during the ceremony all phones are to be put away and silenced. We have an amazing team of videographers and photographers working hard to capture the best moments of our ceremony. During the reception feel free to bring out those phones and capture the celebration after! If you would like to use our wedding hashtag we would love to see all of your pictures from the night! Our wedding hashtag is #CatchingConnell

Will food & drinks be provided?

Answer

After the ceremony we will open up the reception area for guests to grab their tables and some drinks for a small cocktail hour. Food will be provided as well as an open bar for drinks during the Reception.

Do you have any hotels blocked out for us to reserve for the Wedding?

Answer

At this time we are still working on finding the best hotel options for our guests. When we have more information on that we will let our guests know!

What is my deadline to RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

We ask that all of our guests RSVP by January 16th, 2024.
