Lindsey and Henry met in the fall of 2018 at Wazzu—her freshman year and his sophomore year—in a political science class. After a few months of texting and campus conversations and study dates, Henry asked Lindsey to be his girlfriend on February 13th, making Valentine’s Day extra special from them. College was full of fun moments: Saturday football games, lunch dates between classes, late nights out and celebrating milestones together. When COVID hit, life brought long-distance and separate states, but they made it through. After graduation, they started their careers and eventually moved to Seattle, where they explored city life, took lots of trips, and later settled into their first apartment together in Ballard. In November 2024, Henry surprised Lindsey with what she thought was a simple day trip to Orcas Island—only to turn it into the day they got engaged. While wedding planning brings its fair share of chaos, they decided to add a little more fun to their lives by rescuing Kenai, their sweet chocolate lab. After seven years of dating and being engaged, they’re ready for the next chapter—marriage, which promises to be the best one yet.
