Maid of Honor
Kristin is my older and smarter sister. We're the perfect example of yin and yang / older and younger siblings. When we would get a Christmas gift growing up, she'd want to read the manual and I'd want to play with the box. Kristin has been a Lindsey & David supporter from the beginning and I love how much she loves having "Brother David" around.
Best Man
"The other Baker" according to my sister. Casey and I met in high school and became close friends through the hockey team. We remained close after Marquette High and visited each other at Vanderbilt and Miami. After college, Casey and I lived together in Milwaukee for 2 years and even had a joint checking account.
Bridesmaid
Taryn is David’s older sister who lives in Chicago. I’m so lucky to have a sister-in-law who I ENJOY spending time with! We’ve had so many fun adventures in Chicago together and she always takes care of us while we’re there. My greatest accomplishment is that I’m turning her into a Parrothead.
Groomsman
Colin is my oldest friend - We've been causing trouble together for over 20 years! Colin used to bring me to 'bring a friend day' at his gymnastics class, we grew up playing hockey together, went to grade school and high school together, and our families have basically become an extension of one another.
Bridesmaid
Oh Anna Banana. I met Anna when we danced together at Accent on Dance in high school but I feel like I’ve known her since grade school. We’ve had a crazy journey of a friendship and I don’t want to think about life without her. She married one of my best friends, Joey Sladky (shout out!), and we lovingly refer to our 3-person friendship as the Tricycle because no one is ever the third wheel when we hang out. With David in our lives, the Tricycle has now graduated to the Four Wheeler and we’re one big happy family! Anna and I often bond over our love for white wine and Jimmy Buffett, like the 50 year old women we have become.
Groomsman
My sister calls Garrett her "other brother" because she became so used to seeing him at our house. G-Rat and I became friends through mutual friends in high school and quickly grew that relationship over Buffalo Wild Wings, summers out at his lake house, and endless hours of playing NHL in my basement.
Bridesmaid
TK! I first met Tarin at one of the last track meets in our 8th grade careers. We realized that we were both trying out for CMH Poms going into freshman year. We survived through Varsity Poms, Varsity Track, and an injured season of Varsity Cross Country together, where we’d skip our injury workouts at the YMCA and walk to Dairy Queen instead, eating blizzards and talking about life. We stayed friends when I transferred to DS and when she went to school in New York. Tarin is my soul sister. The Giselle to my Bernadette.
Groomsman
Stefan and I became friends freshman year of high school and have remained close ever since. After college, before I had an apartment with Casey, Stefan's couch became my weekend home. Between all the concerts, college visits, closing down the bars, and other shenanigans, we developed a friendship that turns us both into mischievous teenagers every time we see each other.
Bridesmaid
Beef, B-Fo. Bridget was a year older than me at St. Dominic’s and our families became close friends once we bought a cottage on Okauchee Lake. Bridget opened me up to the world of DSHA, which led me to transfer there from CMH. She’s now like a third Holzhauer sister who can hang out with my older sister Kristin just as easily as she can hang out with me. We lived our best teenage lives in the summer of 2008 when we spent countless days on the boat, nights by the fire, and even a morning when she pierced my ear in her kitchen. Bridget and her family were in Utah with us when David proposed and she cried harder than I did – Thanks B!
Groomsman
Ryan and I have been friends since freshman year of high school. To this day, we still act as if we are freshman in high school when we go out and there's never a dull moment. Even though Ryan's favorite hobbies are hunting and fishing, and I don't do either, he has become one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
I met Samantha when I transferred to DSHA halfway through my junior year, but we’ve always felt like we’ve been friends for so much longer than that. We’ve spent so many dances, parties, Brewer games, and a trip to Colorado together. Her boyfriend of 7 years (Matt Bane) is one of David’s best friends and it’s never a dull moment when we all hang out together. Samantha and Matt surprised me in Utah after David proposed and we were able to celebrate with them!!
Groomsman
Matt and I met back in high school when we played hockey together. We were always friends back then, but we have become much closer the last couple of years. We've had countless 'million dollar ideas' pitched back and forth (both before and after a few drinks). We still play adult league hockey together and always look for a chance to celebrate anything.
Usher
Joey has been Lindsey's friend since grade school at St. Dominic's and he got to know David in High School at Marquette High. Joey and Lindsey were the best of buds in high school, spending summers by his pool, having life talks on Lindsey's pier, smoking cigars, and listening to Jimmy Buffett. Joey even married Lindsey's friend (and Bridesmaid), Anna and the three became the Tricycle!
Groomsman
Christian and I met on move in day at Miami University. He lived in the dorm next to me in Anderson hall and he was never able to find a way to get rid of me. We rushed the same fraternity, roomed together in the house sophomore year, lived in the same houses junior and senior year, and did a summer abroad program together. He's always just as concerned about others having a good time around him and never let me miss a night out.

The Matt's! Matt McCarthy and Matt Taylor are two of David's best friends from college. There's not a night out I can think of that these two weren't the driving force of the group. We all lived in the fraternity house for 2 years and then in the 'Hobo Hut' senior year. We spent countless hours playing Mario Kart and streaming every movie you can think of to recover from the weekend. They were also both on my 21st birthday trip to Atlantic City and we definitely left our mark there.
