Embassy Suites by Hilton - Charleston Historic District

This is where the bride and groom will be staying. This all-suite hotel is set in the original Citadel Military College and is located in the heart of beautiful historic downtown. It's steps from great shopping and restaurants, and a 30 minute drive to our wedding venue. Rates includes a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, and complimentary cocktails in the lobby each evening. Parking is $25 for valet or $20 for self-parking in the nearby garage, per day. We have a discounted rate of $309 per night for Friday April 12 and Saturday April 13, and a rate of $289 for weekday nights surrounding our wedding weekend, as long as you book by March 12th and given that space is still available (so please book soon!). The wedding shuttle will pick up from this hotel on Saturday at 3:15 pm (so please arrive at 3:00 pm) and will leave the venue at 10:15 pm.

Town & Country Inn and Suites

This family-owned hotel features very updated and nice guest rooms for a great price. The hotel is located right in between downtown and our wedding location: it is 6 miles from downtown (around a 15-30 minute drive depending on traffic) and 10 miles from our wedding venue (around a 15 minute drive). The hotel has a great restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and guests get a $15 voucher for it each night they stay at the hotel. Parking is free. We have a discounted rate of $189 per night for Friday April 12th and Saturday April 13th, and a rate of $124 for weekday nights surrounding our wedding weekend, as long as you book by March 12th and given that space is still available (so please book soon!). You can book our discounted rate by calling and saying that you are guests of the Newingham & Taylor Wedding. Our wedding shuttle will pick up from this hotel Saturday at 3:45 pm (please arrive at 3:30 pm), and leave the venue at 10:15 pm.
