We're getting married!

We met while we were both students at Clemson University (Go Tigers!). We were coincidentally at the same party one night and as we passed each other on the stairs, we recognized each other from...yes, embarrassingly, a dating app we had matched on a couple days before. He teased me for not messaging him back on the app and I profusely apologized, while laughing, and insisted on giving him my phone number. We talked for hours on those stairs, all the way until the party ended. We made plans to meet up the next day, and we've been together ever since!

We visited Charleston for Anthony's birthday and planned on taking pictures at the Pineapple Fountain before dinner. I thought we had time before our reservation and I convinced him to walk all around the Battery before heading to the fountain. Little did I know, he had a surprise waiting for us at the fountain and I made us late! Anthony pulled me up to the fountain, told me how he always knew I was the one, dropped down on one knee with the ring and asked me to marry him! I said yes (of course!) and when I turned I was SO surprised to see a professional photographer capturing the special moment, my parents, and our dog Sammy (who licked the happy tears off my face)! Even though I made it difficult for Anthony to pull off the surprise, he did perfect!
