Let’s get this party started!

Alex and Lindsey met during school at Plymouth State University. Alex happened to be a good friend of one of Lindsey’s soon to be best friend at the time. They briefly met during their freshman year through that same friend. Fast forward to sophomore year, Alex and Lindsey crossed paths again; this time as across the hall neighbors! Little did they know that in just a few short years how much that would mean to them. Junior year came and went and Alex and Lindsey didn’t see each other much, only the occasional “hey” in the PE center as Alex was an athletic training major and Lindsey played softball. It wasn’t until second semester of senior year until the two reconnected and a spark ignited. They began talking more and more and eventually both fell for each other. Of course it being the end of senior year of college that would mean they both had to go their separate ways, Lindsey back to Virginia, and Alex back to Vermont. The distance scared them, but it didn’t stop them. Daily text conversations turned into phone and FaceTime conversations. And finally, the visits started happening! Alex visited Virginia often to see Lindsey, and Lindsey would frequent New York City to see Alex. After a little over a year of long distance, Alex moved down to Virginia! That was three years ago now. And just a few weeks ago on October 23rd, 2022. Alex asked Lindsey to be his wife at their favorite spot, Bold Rock Cider, where they had one of their first dates. Now they are happier than ever with their two baby dogs, Daisy and Duke, and are so excited to share such a celebration with their closest friends and family! October 14th, 2023 can’t come soon enough!
