Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before June 30th, 2026.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Wedding attire is cocktail. For women: think maxi or midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. For men: suits, or jackets with dress pants.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30pm, as our ceremony will start at 5:00pm.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors on the bow of the boat, assuming Seattle summer weather cooperates. Our reception will be indoors with open air. There is no A/C on the boat, but lots of windows and fans so should stay cool with the cool breeze off the water.

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is very central in the city of Seattle, and ~10 minute drive from our hotel blocks and recommended neighbourhoods, so we expect it to be easy to get around with Ubers/Lyfts, or local transit.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether you have a plus one. We wish we could accommodate everyone, but our venue capacity is strictly limited to those on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions we are only having children from immediate family for our wedding day. However, please feel free to bring them to Friday night's welcome event, since it's an all-ages brewery!

Question

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please indicate this as part of your RSVP! We will be accommodating everything from vegan to carnivore diet :)

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there are a few parking spots available at the MV Skansonia venue dedicated for guests, and there is also free street parking nearby. Parking should not be a problem.

Question

Does the boat move?

Answer

No, the MV Skansonia stays permanently docked on Lake Union. She has been out of commission for many years and enjoys her retirement permanently docked on Lake Union enjoying the beautiful Seattle skyline! So for anyone with motion sickness, don't worry!

Question

Is the boat ADA accessible?

Answer

The boat is ADA accessible on the first floor. There is a wide ramp leading onto the boat and an ADA accessible bathroom located on the first floor. Upstairs is not ADA accessible but the main wedding action is on the first floor!
