We're Getting Married!

Joseph and Lindsay were both living in Phoenix as a way to escape the cold from the East Coast. They turned to dating apps to try and find a companion in their new city and it seemed like both had terrible luck with dating. Until, they both swiped right on each other and the rest is history! They quickly bonded over their love for cats, food and cooking and the outdoors. Joe and Lindsay spent their time in Arizona hiking and camping and bonding with each others kitties. They became inseparable and decided it was time to get a place of their own. Little did these two know, they decided to move into a studio apartment with 3 cats, one month before Covid hit. With the two working at home, they knew their relationship would be put to the test. However, the close proximity only brought them closer. As much as they cherished their time in Arizona, they both knew it was time to be closer to family, friends and seasons. They packed their cats in the car and made the drive to Maine. They decided to start over once again and since have found their forever home.

Joe knew this proposal had to be anything but ordinary. He created a scavenger hunt filled with riddles and clues that would eventually lead to a special prize. The game began as Lindsay woke up from a nap. In her groggy state, she stumbled across the first clue and reluctantly played along. The riddles were complicated, leading her to more and more clues around their apartment. She secretly hoped the game would end with chocolate and honestly had no idea what was to come. There were ten clues in total and a personal favorite was, "Peel back the layers of communism to reveal what's inside". This clue led to a Russian doll which of course had another clue stuffed inside the nesting dolls. After what felt like hours of confusion and frustration, the last clue led to a book. She opened the book and saw the pages had been cut out. A small box was hidden inside the book and her heart sank as she finally realized what was going on. She turned around to Joe kneeling on one knee and he could barely get the words out before she said Yes! We're so excited for you to join us in our love story!
