Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Shane GreenwaltShane Greenwalt

Best Man

The man, the myth, the legend: Shane. Through every up and down Shane has been a landmark in my life. He is always quick with a quip, a different perspective and a consoling ear. He has a way with words. He's also the first person to challenge me late night to see if I can cook a snack in a extremely small amount of time 'cause he's hungry. He knows me better than most and understands all my quirks. His support has been paramount to my personal growth and I couldn't imagine anyone better equipped to be my Best Man.

Liz WaldieLiz Waldie

Maid of Honor

"Best Friend", "Ride or Die", "heterosexual life partner", "sister": All words to describe what Liz Waldie is to me. If you need someone to make you laugh until you snort or call you when you're spiraling from boy or work problems, or plan an epic trip to Costa Rica, or help finish off a bowl of mashed potatoes, she is your girl. From High School Choir to moves across continents to losing loved ones, Liz has seen and supported me through it all. I don't know where I would be without this girl.... I'm not crying, you're crying.

Tim ParsonsTim Parsons

Groomsman

Our North east roots connect us; but all that we have in common beyond that is what has this gem of a human standing by my side. Most definitely the only person I know with an encyclopedic knowledge of all athletes and what college they went to! If you know T; than you know "TP takes T"...and he's well worth the wait. Timmy has been a supporter of Lindsay and me from the get go and I couldn't imagine this day without him here by our sides.

Megan LehrMegan Lehr

Bridesmaid

I knew I loved Megan from the first time I heard her giggle. Her genuine nature, and effervescent and inquisitive personality has been known to melt hearts, and mine was no different. Not only do we have a ton in common, including our Texas background, but we just click in the best way. Megan has been a cheerleader, a confident, an influencer and a go-to bestie over the last year and I have no doubt for all of them to come.

James VaughnJames Vaughn

Groomsman

Un-official Mayor of Ballard and Jeopardy aficionado; James has had an unwavering support of Lindsay and my relationship development. He has been a friend, a confidant, and a person to just laugh with since the beginning. Loves Lindsay like a sister and me like a brother! All around super solid human who has become a cornerstone in our lives.

Hilary HeinoHilary Heino

Bridesmaid

I never would have guessed that crazy pandemic would bring me one of the best friends I would ever have. Overnight, Hilary became my #1 buddy for hikes, Ballard bar crawls, weekend trips to Bend and romantic girly dinners. As a planner, she made sure we were never bored and explored all that Seattle had to offer. Now that she has moved back to WA from MD, I'm excited for all the new memories and many more "meow's" of love.

Amit BudhuAmit Budhu

Groomsman

Amit is one of my oldest friends after moving to the Seattle area. He knew both Lindsay and me separately; as he is the one who introduced us, it only speaks to his spirit. He is a wonderful man who facilitates friendships wherever he goes and brings laughter and volume to every scenario. We've grown together and seen each other as confidants and people to lean on. He knows that no matter when he can always reach out to me and I know the same for him. A fantastic man, friend, and person.

Hannah SalmonHannah Salmon

Bridesmaid

Hannah is a bright ray of sunshine and joy in my life. During my first day at work in Portland, OR, we connected on wearing matching outfits and being adopted and knew it was meant to be. Together, we navigated the throws of a job that didn't deserve us, relationships and life changes. During Brian and my second week of dating, Hannah came to visit me in Seattle and since then, has always been the most enthusiastic supporter of us. She is someone I can always count on for being a real friend to talk through the hard times, and afterwards make me laugh until my sides hurt and a friend for life.

Moses RamseyMoses Ramsey

Groomsman

Moses or "Mo Sauce" has been a friend for over two decades. Always there to lend a laugh, share a story, and play some pool. He has been a mainstay in my life since we first were introduced by Shane many, many moons ago. A true friend since the beginning who has always been solid. No matter who you ask this man is class personified!

Emily BrownEmily Brown

Bridesmaid

Roommate turned forever friend, Emily has been in my life since DC days. Living together brought us close, but travel and the PNM made us homies. From sharing a bathroom to safari in Africa, backyard fire pit nights in Portland to yoga and dinners in Seattle and navigating lifes crappiest and most joyous days, Emily has been a grounded source of love and support in my life. And not just in my life, but in Brian's too. Since the day they met at one of our house parties, Brian requests regular Emmy time.

Matt TothMatt Toth

Groomsman

Matt has been a great friend for over two decades as well. He is the grounding force every friendship group needs. He's driven, humble, and respectful and the first person you wanna see on the dance floor. Man can wiggle. Beyond his epic dance moves, he's the man most strive to become; confident and focused in his business efforts and a caring husband, with the love and support of his better half Jess. Couldn't imagine doing this without him !

Sandra DickisonSandra Dickison

Bridesmaid

Sandra has been my work wife and homie since early days at the Department of Energy in DC. While we were sharing an office and learning the federal ropes together, I was mostly following her lead. As my Embassy party plus 1 for life, Sandra has been with me through the joys of the Admin changes to being my go-to girl for living it up in the DC nightlife, happy hour and brunch scene and all of life in between.

Michael LippertMichael Lippert

Officiant

Dad made it abundantly clear just how happy he was for me and Lindsay when, on the first time they spent time together, he shared that he would, "Happily officiate our wedding, if she would have me". He saw the support, love, and admiration that Lindsay and I shared from the beginning. Having had the privilege to watch the relationship he and mom share; we can hold his opinion in the highest regard. There is no one better suited to officiate this glorious day. Love you Pops!

Allison LotzgesellAllison Lotzgesell

Bridesmaid

My new seester! aka the General. aka the best mama and sister around. Based on reputation alone, meeting her should have scared me, but since day one I knew she and I were going to be friends. Her children are amazing, which is indicative of how wonderful she is as a mother and person. I couldn't be more thrilled to have her as family, to sip wine with at all the family meals, ask her top notch advice on all the things, and know that she'll have my and Brian's back every day.

Barbara LippertBarbara Lippert

Mother of the Groom

Mom has had a special bond with Lindsay from the very inception of our relationship. They connected on there love of seeing the world and she could tell that Lindsay grounded me and actually appreciated my niche' level of weird. Mom has been the strongest woman in my life for 40+ years and I believe she sees a little of herself in Lindsay; a strong, independent, nurturing, loving, and supportive woman. Couldn't be happier to share this day with her.

Deborah PerryDeborah Perry

Birth mother of the Bride

Deborah is where it all began. She gave me my chestnut hair, my adventurous spirit, and my headstrong personality. Since reconnecting at 18, I’ve felt my life’s puzzle become more complete as a Parker in the loving Perry family. Our bond is effortless and instinctive—like no time has passed. She was elated as soon as I introduced Brian as a new part of my life, not skipping a beat to welcome him with open arms to the family.

LaVerne ParkerLaVerne Parker

Mother of the Bride

Margaret LaVerne Holland Parker lit up every room she entered. She gave me my drive for success, open nature and so many memories - shopping, trips to nurseries to look for plants or to antique malls to seek out new additions to her collections. My mom was also the most generous person I've ever known, always focused on others. She was an amazing mom and know she and Brian would have been immediate best friends, bonding over their giving hearts, haircare, fashion and wit. Plus, they're just fun! Brian lights up my life the way mom's memory does every day and I know she would be elated to have Brian at the heart of our family.

Taylor ParkerTaylor Parker

Father of the Bride

As my Aunt Cheryl once said, my Papa "...was born to be [my] Dad". His steady nature and immature (read: amazing) sense of humor made him magnetic. When he wasn't cooking, reading a murder mystery novel or tending to my mom's garden, Dad was taking me camping, to the theater or movies, or to Indian Princesses activities. I know he would love Brian - they share a sharp wit, a love of football, and most importantly, me. Though Papa won't be there to walk me down the aisle, but I feel him with me always and know he would be overjoyed to give me away to the love of my life.
