Mawwiage is what brings us together today!

We met through a site we were on to keep up with people from high school. It somehow landed Nick on my page. We talked for a few months on and off. I went off to college and we lost touch.

Facebook ended up suggesting us as friends to eachother a few times. Nick messaged me because he recognized me and we decided to hang out as friends.

Nick moved to Tampa but noticed he actually missed me so I came down to visit once a month. Eventually he said I love you and I just said duh! I had known for a while that I wanted to see what came of it and I'm glad I did.

We took our anniversary trip to St. Augustine. Nick's plans to propose had been dashed the year before because Disney closed down. Thanks Covid! He waited until the last day when my parents were set to come down and we were supposed to go on a historical carriage ride. After our ride we went to look around at the Castillo de San Marcos. Again Nick's carefully laid plans were dashed. He planned to propose in front of the Castillo but a bunch of very loud children were running around in front of it. He thought on his feet and ended up proposing in front of one of the sea facing walls of the fort.
