Famous BBQ Restaurant Downtown
One of our favorite downtown spots for happy hour or dinner
If you're an Elvis fan, make a point to stop by Graceland, the mansion and area where Elvis lived in Memphis! It's a bit outside of Downtown, so you'll need to drive or take an uber.
Party like a Memphian (or a tourist) on Beale Street! We recommend Silky O'Sullivan's (especially if the weather is nice), Alfred's, and A. Schwab for shopping. Check out Ghost River Brewing if you are a beer lover!
Lindsay's favorite BBQ spot. Not as famous as Rendezvous but... it's so good!
A cute and fun area in Midtown Memphis. Catch a cab or take an Uber here to get out of downtown for some shopping and great food.
Overton Square is another area in Midtown if you'd like to get out of downtown and explore. There are several good restaurants and places to shop and explore.
Awesome spot for brunch or martinis downtown. Their brunch is highly recommended by Brian's daughter, Jane!
Check out this spectacle! The Memphis Bass Pro Shop is a former concert venue and basketball arena. It has a hotel, restaurant, and bowling alley. It’s the largest Bass Pro Shop in the world and is very close to the Balinese Ballroom.
Elvis Presley’s first album was recorded here. Other notables include Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis.
