Located next to Ryan's high school and diagonal from Lindsay's office (couple sightseeing tour!), the hotel is just few blocks away from the Marriott Courtyard, the 3rd Street Promenade, and beach/Pier. House rentals are allowed only in Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Venice, Marina del Rey. Technically outlawed in SaMo unless it's a guest house. Good luck house hunting!!

Rental Car

Do you need to rent a car? If you're staying in Santa Monica and plan to stick to the Westside (Santa Monica, Malibu, Venice), I would just recommend getting around by walking, biking, or taking Uber/Lyft. Car might be helpful if you're hoping to go to Disneyland, Hollywood, or Universal.

Bike Rentals

Breeze Bike Share is a great way to get around Santa Monica without a car. There are green bike stations all around Santa Monica and some in Venice. There are plenty of bike rental places that have riding options for kiddos and helmets. Wear a helmet. Be safe.

Train

Metro - Expo Line & Beyond!

Take the train to Exposition Park or downtown Los Angeles. The Courtyard Marriott is across the street from the 4th Street Downtown Santa Monica station. The train unfortunately doesn't connect to LAX.

Santa Monica Free Ride

Santa Monica has awesome golf cart-style FREE rides around downtown Santa Monica, the beach, Main Street, and Montana Avenue. Carts operate from 11am - 9pm (later on the weekend). Hail a cart (like in the days when there were cabs) or call 310-895-9204.
