Cocktail attire is preferred for our wedding! The weather in San Diego in July is usually around 75 degrees during the day and 65 degrees at night (especially near the water). We recommend bringing a jacket since our ceremony and reception will be outdoors!
If you are staying at either the Empress Hotel or Inn By The Sea, those hotels are ~5 min walk to the venue. If you are coming in from elsewhere, then you are able to park on the adjacent streets; however, we recommend a Ride Share option to be safe!
Check out our Accommodations page to access discounted rates at nearby hotels. There are plenty of hotels in the area, as well as Airbnb and VRBO if that's your jam! We strongly encourage you to book your accommodations as soon as possible, since July is a very busy travel month and things will sell out!
We recommend flying into the San Diego airport. It's easy to get in and out of, plus it's a quick 20 minute drive to La Jolla. We also recommend Lyft/Uber for transportation while you are in San Diego. Of course if you would prefer to rent a car, there are plenty of companies near the airport!
