Jenn and Lindsay grew up together and have been friends their entire lives. Their dads went to high school together and were each in each other’s weddings, and when Jenn got married in 2016, Lindsay was a bridesmaid. Lindsay couldn’t be more excited to have Jenn standing next to her on her special day. Jenn lives in Walnut Creek with her husband Will and their baby boy, Luke.

Jason Langlois

Best Man

Jason is Matt's first cousin and best friend. They were close friends growing up but were limited to only seeing each other for birthdays, holidays and family get togethers. After college Jason (and his then girlfriend, now wife, Aleece) became Matt's roommates and they did almost everything together from brewery tours, vacations, and country concerts. Matt was the best man in Jason's wedding and was so happy to be able to ask Jason to return the favor.

Megan Brotherton

Bridesmaid

Megan and Lindsay met in 2011 and became quick friends. Over the next few years, Megan and her husband Jeremy became honorary members of the Athan family, spending numerous weekends, game nights, holidays, and vacations with them. Megan and Jeremy moved to Denver, Co in 2017 and live there with their son, Cooper, and twin girls, Riley & Sydney.

Andrew Rapattoni

Matt and Andrew met while Matt was working as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche and Andrew was an intern, before finishing his last year of college. They periodically kept in touch but became good friends when Andrew joined Matt working at Thoratec. They've bonded over hunting, shooting, and surviving a tough mudder race together.

Becca Poloske

Lindsay & Becca met in 2011 when Lindsay got her first job as a physical therapist and Becca was working as an aide. Despite job changes, they remained close friends and have bonded over their love of sports, their love of wine and their love of their dogs, Stoli & Cleo (who are also the best of friends!)

Ramsey Akl

Matt and Ramsey met when they were assigned as roommates at UC Santa Barbara. Ramsey's outgoing personality and genuine concern for others made becoming good friends very easy. They spent two years helping each other with accounting homework, sneaking into the dining commons and having a lot of fun.

Danica Hutchins

Danica is one of Matt’s sisters and has graciously lent her creativity and attention to detail into helping plan our big day. She quickly made Lindsay feel like part of the family by including her in family dinners and game nights, and showing her how great it will be to finally have sisters!

David Fink

Groomsman

Matt & David became friends when they both started working at Deloitte & Touche in 2007. Matt would often spend the weekends out in the city with David hanging out with all of their Deloitte friends. They have bonded over the years doing everything from hunting & shooting, vacationing in Hawaii. and a tough mudder race. David wasted countless hours teaching Matt how to snowboard and was the best nurse to Matt when he crashed his moped in Thailand and needed stitches. Matt was a groomsman in David's wedding and is happy to have him standing with him.

Michelle Cirelli

Michelle is Matt’s younger sister and made an immediate impression on Lindsay with her baking, party planning skills and knowledge of all things wine. Michelle has lent her good taste, creativity, and craft ideas to personalize our special day and help our vision become a reality.

George Athan

Groomsman

George is Lindsay's younger brother but surprisingly didn't meet Matt until almost a year after Matt and Lindsay started dating. Luckily Matt knew all he had to do was tell George he was a Niners, Giants and Warriors fan and he would be welcome. Matt is happy to have a new brother and friend stand by him on his wedding day.

Scott Hutchins

Scott is Matt’s brother-in-law. Scott saw our relationship blossom from the beginning, as just a few short weeks after meeting for the first time, Matt invited Lindsay to Scott’s 40th birthday roast. He’s family, a crowd pleaser, and has a great sense of humor, so naturally, he was the first person to pop in our heads as the perfect person to marry us!
