We kindly request that only adults attend our wedding and reception. Children are allowed at our welcome event the night before the wedding. We're delighted to hear that some families will be making an Ireland trip out of our wedding weekend! We've reached out to the venue for recommendations for childcare. Local nanny services are available to watch children during the wedding ceremony and reception, including The Wedding Nanny, FunNFrills, and Nannies for Weddings. Aidan McOsker would also be delighted to change any diapers directed his way.
For those who wish to drive, complimentary parking is available at the castle. Otherwise, cab services and rideshare are available to transport you to the castle ahead of the ceremony. After the reception, shuttles to Sligo Park Hotel and the Glasshouse Hotel will run from the castle continuously from 11pm until 230am.
Great question! Here are some pros and cons to our airport options. We anticipate most people will fly into Dublin. 1. Dublin: has the most flights arriving from the US, usually cheaper, ~2.5 hour drive or 3 hour train ride to Sligo (best option if you don't want to rent a car) 2. Shannon: may require layover, ~2 hour car drive from Sligo, limited public transit to Sligo, great launching point for exploring western Ireland 3. Belfast: may require layover, will require additional entry requirements for UK, limited public transit to Sligo, ~2.5 hour car drive
