Other beaches are accessible and free only if you can get yourself there by Uber or on foot. Parking is essentially impossible (expensive & restricted on streets nearby). They are: Jennings Beach Fairfield Beach South Pine Creek Sasco Hill Southport If you just want to enjoy a water view, the Lordship Seawall (where Juan and I are staying) has some paid parking options. There's also South Pine Creek beach which you can easily visit during the wedding reception since it's just next to Scandinavian Club (like others, it is impossible to park at or near it).
CT is the world’s capital of pizza and you can find good “New Haven style” pizza all over, not just New Haven itself. The most famous is Pepe’s (New Haven & Fairfield locations) but there are bound to be other good ones wherever you find yourself.
Metro North trains run frequently between NYC and various CT towns and takes about 90 minutes
