This moment has been a long time coming, and we can't wait to share our special day with all of you. Some of you have been here since the beginning, and some have you have joined us along the way. Regardless, we are so blessed to have the most important people in our lives all together in one place to witness and celebrate this new chapter. Cheers to the Jewells!
How we got here
Colin and Lindsay met for the first time in September of 2021 in Charlotte, NC - only 45 minutes away from their now wedding venue! Lindsay and Colin clicked from their first date, so much so they were willing to drive a 4-hour round-trip commute to see each other for the next 2.5 years without hesitation. Colin later bought a house for the two of them, and Lindsay eagerly moved in, finally ending that dreaded commute. They started new jobs, made amazing friends, travelled the world, and even got two dogs together! In August of 2025, Colin proposed by surprising Lindsay with an amazing trip to Portugal! He proposed on the idyllic southern coastal cliffs, and it could not have been more perfect for Lindsay! Now they both can't wait to continue this life together as husband and wife!
Where we're going next
Colin is deploying in June, in which Lindsay will have to find a way to pass the time - most likely travelling and excessively crafting. When Colin returns from his deployment, they will finally be able to go on their honeymoon around their year-one anniversary! The first time they went to Europe together, they completed a dreamy itinerary of Portugal, France, and Italy. They are revisiting those same countries for their honeymoon, but exploring all new destinations within those countries! This time, they will be spending their time in Porto, Provence, Cote dAzur, and the Amalfi Coast. Following Colin's departure from the military, they plan to travel to Japan, somewhere he has always wanted to see, and embrace the beautiful culture of the opposite side of the world! Any travel recommendations for any of these locations are greatly appreciated :)
