Our Story
Lindsay and Colby are proudly high school sweethearts! Their first date was Culver's and a basketball game. After a few dates, Colby asked Lindsay to be his girlfriend on 2-13-22 at Bravo Italian Restaurant. They return to this restaurant every year on February 13th.
Colby and Lindsay went to different high schools. Their meet-cute is Colby sending Lindsay an Instagram DM with a simple but effective "You're cute," and the rest is history!
They both attend Iowa State, and are graduating in May of 2026. Lindsay is in school to be an elementary teacher, and Colby has graciously pretended to be a 2nd grader on MANY occasions so Lindsay could practice teaching lessons she made. Colby is in school for marketing and management but is an incredibly skilled photographer, and Lindsay has gladly been his model for years.
Colby proposed to Lindsay on the beach while they were on vacation in Cancun. He had a BEAUTIFUL setup, and she said YES. They are so so excited to start their forever!!
