Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Rain or Shine the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in the beautiful Hyatt Regency Amphitheatre in Newport Beach, CA. Expect the venue to be 5-10 degrees cooler outside than inland Orange County. Sunglasses are recommended as the ceremony will be held near sunset. The ceremony will take place in the amphitheatre on a grass lawn followed by a cocktail hour on the amphitheatre terrace. The reception will be on premise in on the outdoor patio just a few steps away from the terrace. Professional childcare services will be indoor.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

4:00 PM. We ask that you please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to insure nobody misses the ceremony. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30. Arriving between 3:30 and 4:00 will give you ample time to park and find the outdoor amphitheater on the resort property. We invite you to use any free time before the ceremony to enjoy a welcome drink, photo opportunities, live music, & fellow guests' company.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and classy. Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but cocktail attire is recommended. No athletic gear or ball caps please.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome. We will provide a secure dedicated kids’ area just steps from the reception with licensed and insured childcare staff, so little ones can have fun while parents enjoy the celebration.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! A delicious plated dinner will be served during the reception. Fish or beef options will be available for all guests to choose.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us all night long until 10PM!

Is parking available at the venue/hotel?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged for our guests to have complimentary self-parking during the event. The self-parking lot can be accessed by turning left at the first stop sign when you enter the resort property. Once you park, look for the designated attendant to help you find the outdoor amphitheatre. Overnight self-parking is available at a discounted rate of $20, and valet parking is also available for an additional fee.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are indicated on the invitation. Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation.

Is there a hotel room block for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block for our guests at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, which is also where we’ll be saying “I do” and celebrating the reception. Staying at the venue makes it easy to enjoy the festivities without worrying about transportation. We encourage you to make your reservations early to ensure you get the pre-negotiated rate of $249 per night. There is a limited number of rooms at this price.
