FAQs

If you have any questions, other than what we've listed here, please reach out to our wedding planner, Elana Walker, at 919-753-8624.
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, please! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Keep in mind the ceremony is outside on the lawn (weather permitting), so please be cognizant of shoe choice!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thank you for understanding as we're navigating this wedding in the midst of a pandemic and are trying to do it as safely as possible! You - and your health are very important to us!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In effort to keep everyone safe and compliant with the COVID-19 policy, our wedding is an adult-only celebration. Parents, we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony is not provided. However, all of the hotels listed on our Travel page - Marriott City Center, Origin Hotel Raleigh, and Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Downtown are all within a ten minute drive of our venue, The Maxwell. There will be ample parking for all guests at the venue.
