Caleb and I first met through the Outdoor Program at SOU. He came in with his dreads and big brain energy and I was pretty unsure about him. A few months later we were looking for river guides to go on this trip to the North Umpqua River. Really unsure of the group we were going with, we begged Caleb to come. He ended up totally salvaging what would have been a nightmare trip and after that we became inseparable. In the following months we would come to bond over our shared love of rivers, whiskey and, a little bit later, Lindsay.

Annalise and Lindsay survived freshman year soccer, then spent four years annoying any teacher who made the mistake of letting them sit next to each other. After 10 years and counting, they now spend most of their time talking about knitting like the grandmas they are at heart!

I first met Caleb at the Outdoor Program BBQ and knew we had to be friends when I saw his badass dreads. Luckily he was much cooler than just his dreads and I have stuck around long after they were gone. Turns out he’s been a pretty decent Mario Cart and balance board partner.

Elenore and Lindsay survived freshman year math classes, and then spent the next four years annoying every teacher who made the mistake of seating Lindsay next to Elenore after moving her away from Annalise. After 10 years they are ALSO fiber arts grandma friends, though it's worth noting that Elenore is a crocheter!

Caleb united with his doppelgänger, Willie, at the SOU Outdoor Program where Caleb served as Willie's graduate assistant. There first adventure was a kayaking trip together where they both promptly swam, broke boats, and generally forgot how to properly use all of their equipment. After that trip their friendship continued to grow stronger as they worked together at SOU.
Jenny Nitzky

Jenny first met Lindsay sophomore year of college, and six months later they were planning adventures across six different countries! They have ridden camels in the Sahara desert together, climbed a volcano in Guatemala, and explored the castles of Portugal (and those are just the trips they took together, be sure to ask Jenny about all her other international adventures if you get the chance!).

Beth and Lindsay met at the Southern Oregon University Outdoor Program, and bonded over a love of whitewater rafting. They spent a glorious summer working rentals, stand up paddleboarding and playing board games before Beth abandoned her to go to Oregon State University to become a geologist (feel free to ask her to identify a rock if you see her, just make sure it's not quartz!)
Avery Reynolds

Avery is essentially the reason Lindsay became a fully functioning adult; as one of Lindsay's first real roommates they can fully take credit for the fact that she knows how to cook and clean beyond the skills of a college freshman. Avery and Lindsay have rafted, kayaked, hiked, and camped across the PNW, and Avery has functionally destroyed Lindsay at every board game they've ever played together. All the necessary components of a lifelong friendship, am I right?!
