Our love story began in Beaver Creek, CO, back in 2014. Lindsay was on her Spring Break during her second year of medical school with her friend Alicia Unangst. They had every intention of skiing at Vail Resort instead of Beaver Creek but given they were staying at the Comfort Inn in Avon, they might as well stay put. After a long day of skiing, they decided to check out the local pubs to enjoy a cold one. They ventured over to Bob's Place, a short walking distance from the Comfort Inn. As where most gossip tends to lead among girls, Alicia and Lindsay started discussing Avon's finest gentlemen available at Bob's Place. Now Alicia and Lindsay had some disagreements over the eligible bachelors. Alicia seemed to think that their current bartender was more of a catch, but once Lindsay looked over at the register and saw Avrom, she stated, "Now he is EXACTLY my type." Shortly after uttering those words, Avrom walked over to where the girls were seated at the bar and asked if he could get them anything else to drink. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth, after all, anyone who knows Lindsay is well aware that she never turns down a free drink. The conversation led to what brought two beautiful girls to the fine establishment of Bob's Place. Skiing was the girls' unified response. "Oh," Avrom said. "I have off tomorrow morning. I could show you girls around the mountain if you like." He smiled as he made eye contact with Lindsay. Smoothly, he slid across the bar a small slip of paper with his number on it, strategically placing it between Alicia and Lindsay. The next day they went skiing...

Avrom and Lindsay traveled with their friends, Morgan and Andrew Pohl, to Barcelona, Spain in the spring of 2018. Now Lindsay already knew that Avrom had bought a ring but she did not know when he was going to ask the question. Morgan, who already knew Avrom's plans, was able to convince Lindsay that it was not going to happen on this trip; after all traveling out of the country with an engagement ring would be stressful in and of itself. The four of them spent the first day touring the city. There were a few times that Morgan and Andrew anticipated Avrom to ask the question, including dinner at the Arcana, which had a very romantic atmosphere, but Avrom had other plans in mind. The next day, April 3, they continued playing tourist around the city. They decided on an historic site Avrom had on his wish list to see while on this trip: Bunkers Del Carmel. Located northeast from Park Guell, they took a taxi up the hill and ventured to where the Bunkers were. On the short walk, Avrom gave the signal to Andrew to be ready with the camera. Once they got to the landing, the most breathtaking view of the city lay below them. Avrom asked Lindsay to take a picture together with the spectacular view in the background. Then he turned to her and got down on one knee. "Lindsay, these last four years have been amazing with you but there is something I've been wanting to ask you. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" Morgan and Andrew were there capturing every second of that magical moment.
