Spanish fort dating back to the 1600s. One of the defining places in St. Augustine's history.
This is a beautiful church in the historic district. You can go inside during visiting hours.
This ornate drawbridge connects the historic district to Anastasia Island
Our favorite local coffee shop! Aussie-American style serving espresso, pies, and other baked treats. Multiple locations around town - search for your nearest one!
The name says it all. Extensive trademark martini menu and bay views, right in the historic district. Almost a rite of passage location when visiting St. Augustine. Pro tip: you can combine any of the martinis on the menu to make your own custom drink.
Incredible, innovative food and drink with an extensive cocktail program located on the oldest street in the United States. We visited two straight nights on our most recent trip - that's how good it is. Check out their happy hour M-F 3-6PM!
Located on the bay front at the foot of the Bridge of Lions, Casa Reina is inspired by the flavors of Mexican, Latin American and Florida Coastal cuisine. Offers waterfront, inside, and rooftop dining. Austin recommends the seafood enchiladas.
Great bay front location in the middle of it all, offering Cajun and Creole inspired fare. We're big fans of the boudin balls and she crab soup. Ask to sit on their expansive patio for the best experience. There may be a wait but it's worth it.
Head up to the rooftop for incredible views of, you guessed it.. the river, the fort, and everything else that makes up the historic district. Downstairs and upstairs dining rooms and multiple rooftop lounges.
Upscale Italian fare with incredible, multi-level views and a picturesque courtyard. Multiple dining rooms and first come areas of service, including a rooftop overlooking the bay.
Another one whose name says it all. Nautical and tropical cocktails, amusing shots, and light bites in a bright, fun atmosphere.
One of our favorites in the whole city! Large, seafood-centric menu. Located on an inlet bay just a few minutes from the historic district. Unlike most restaurants in town, Fish Camp DOES accept reservations.
If we had to pick one bar, this is probably it. Unique architectural setting with meticulously curated drinks and farm to table food. Included in Southern Living's 100 Best Bars in the South and many other pieces of high praise.
Trendy cocktail bar offering vibey, unique drinks and food. One of the best drinks Austin has ever had was here.
Our favorite beachside (St. Augustine Beach) breakfast spot. Large, elevated diner menu and multiple bloody mary offerings.
Counter service taco/burrito shop with locations on St. Augustine Beach and in the historic district. We recommend their UFOs - big Crunchwrap Supreme vibes.
Caribbean inspired bar and grill just steps from the beach (St. Augustine Beach.) Don't forget the mojito.
One of our favorite (and most unique!) spots where we usually kick-off all of our trips to the area. Caribbean inspired menu with unique, waterside tiki hut seating options. Before or after your meal, head 300 feet out over the water to the infamous Conch House Lounge for another drink (or two.)
Incredible waterfront views with elevated menu and expansive wine list. Multiple seating options depending on the vibe you seek. Be sure to order a "docktail" while you wait on the pier for your table. The picture at the top of this page was taken here. Located on Vilano Beach.
