June is the best time of year to see the vast variety of roses at the Portland International Rose Test Garden. If you're there on a clear day, look for Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens just behind the city skyline. Lindsay would recommend that you also take a run on of the 100 miles of trails connected through Forest Park which is just next door.
