The Alamo
Remember the Alamo! Located in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Alamo is the home of Texas independence. After visiting, stroll downtown to find amazing shops, sites, and some of the best Mexican food you can find. It's about 24 miles from Helotes Fun Fact: The Alamo was the background for a scene in Miss Congeniality starring Sandra Bullock
San Antonio River Walk
A famous place to just walk around, grab a bite, and see sites! Check out the boat tours!
McNay Art Museum
McNay was a place Hannah worked weddings at for almost 2 years. This is also the place Linden and Hannah had their first real date after coffee.
Witte Museum
Where nature, science, and culture meet along the Museum Reach of the River Walk. It is home to some of the oldest Texas artifacts on display as well as a recently expanded dinosaur gallery.
Boerne
Small town to just walk around! Hannah and Linden would sometimes come up here for food, or just spend the day walking around downtown. Want to eat here? Check out Little Gretel and Dodging Duck. 20 miles from Helotes
John T. Floore's Country Store
Floore's has held some classic country singers! Explore Floore's Country Store, and walk around Old Towne Helotes!
New Braunfels
Explore a small town that takes pride in their German heritage. While in New Braunfels you can stop at Hannah and Linden's favorite restaurant, Krause's, where they have a large Beer Garten, and indoor dining. Don't forget to stop at Bucee's while you are there and take a picture with the famous beaver statue!
Spoetzl Brewery
If you've ever wondered about Shiner Beer, this is the place to go and tour the brewery. A bit of a drive, about 90 minutes away, but you can also find some wonderful little restaurants with great food.
