Getting Around Chicago

Check out Lonely Planet's article on the best ways to get around Chicago which contains several helpful links. The Logan Square neighborhood is located off the Blue Line (Logan Square and California stops). If you are flying into O'Hare, you'll likely be able to take the Blue Line from the airport to your destination. If you opt for accommodations in Wicker Park, Logan Square is only 1-2 stops away. Our venue is approximately 0.4 miles from the Logan Square Blue Line stop. While the CTA is relatively efficient, delays often occur and we recommend factoring in additional time for travel. However, if the idea of public transit in a different city gives you severe anxiety (we feel you on that too!) rideshare options are incredibly plentiful and a reliable way to get to your destination.

Airbnb - Logan Square

The link attached will display a pre-filtered list of all Airbnb's in our neighborhood with availability around the time of our wedding (please filter based on your specific needs!) This is ideal if you are trying to stay in close proximity to the venue or traveling as a family. The neighborhood is home to many bars, restaurants, and cafes, though you may find it lacking in activities if traveling with little ones. If you're comfortable with a short Uber or train ride over, there are also great options in Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, and Bucktown. By far the most economical option.

The Robey is a boutique Marriott property located in the heart of neighboring Wicker Park. Great neighborhood for letting your gluttonous side loose. 2 miles from the venue. No pets, unfortunately.

Longman & Eagle

If you really want to be in the heart of Logan Square, this is your spot. Longman & Eagle is a neighborhood treasure known for their incredible brunch and extensive whiskey menu. While they only offer 6 rooms, their schedule is currently clear for April of 2024. Located within walking distance from all wedding festivities.

Looking for a weekend getaway? Wicker Park Inn is a boutique bed & breakfast in neighboring Wicker Park. They have limited rooms so get in quick if you're interested!

Hyatt Place Chicago / Wicker Park

The Hyatt Place hotel in neighboring Wicker Park is a moderately affordable option right off highway 90, only a short distance from Logan Square. The neighborhood has no shortage of things to do and plenty of entertainment within walking distance. Pet-friendly.

Freehand Chicago

Freehand Hotels is ideal for staying downtown on a moderate budget or traveling with a family. They offer everything from penthouse suites to private shared quads if multiple people are in your party. All private rooms are pet-friendly. While it is a 25-minute car ride to the venue, it is located within blocks of everything Chicago has to offer.
