Maid of Honor
God knew what he was doing when he gave me my little sister. Linda is such a strong, smart, independent, compassionate, talented & caring person. I love our adventures together which include Vegas trips, sister dances at the movies, getting her out of a ticket when she decided to reverse in a Jack in the Box drive thru right into the car of a large guy, eating pizza & In N Out late at night as part of our diet program, getting a concussion & stitches in my head because she pressured me to follow her up a water fall, playing music together, spontaneous universal studios trips, & my new favorite driving to what seemed thousands of places to find her wedding dress. I love Linda very much & would do anything for her. I’m happy she & Brian met and I’m excited for the future of Mr. & Mrs. GOMEZ.
Best Man
I met Brian in middle school, we did not have any classes together but I would sit by him in the cafeteria because he would give me the crust of his Mr. Gatti's pizza. I could tell Brian was a generous individual as he would always leave a little cheese and sauce on the end which made for a more substantial snack. I do not usually base my friendships off of the charity of someone's gift of leftover pizza, but in this case it has worked out well for us.

It all started in our undergrad social work classes. Linda would come into class with her smoothies and healthy snacks and I thought I needed to be friends with her (even though she was late to class everyday). Soon enough we did become friends and somehow we ended up living together, working together, and even moving to Texas together. So she can thank me for convincing her to move to Texas and meeting the love of her life. Haha

I have known Brian so long that neither of us remembers exactly how or when we met. It was certainly sometime in our tweenages years. Most of my memories with Brian involve some sort of competitive event (whether it be ping pong, soccer, or sneaking in free admission to play basketball at Lifetime gym) but certainly always end up with laughter. While it’s been years of living in different cities, we can go weeks with barely talking and then pick up like we never left off. I am so excited for Brian and Linda and to see where their adventure will take them. Brian played an important part in my wedding day (critical dance moves), so of course I am truly honored to be a part of his and Linda’s big day!

6 years ago I met Linda. I was new in town and was invited to a young adults Friday night service at a church in Covina, CA. My plan was to visit and leave right after the service and not come back. Linda made sure I did not leave without introducing herself to me and having me meet the group. What I love about Linda is that she does not hesitate to talk to new people. I came back the following week because I had built friendships on the first night. If it wasn’t for Linda’s warm welcoming I might have never met and married her brother. I’m happy that I’ve had the opportunity to become part of her family and was able to see her relationship develop with Brian.

To whom it may concern. I remember it like it was yesterday. We met rock climbing at the Grand Canyon. We were about 500 feet up on a 1000 foot climb. So we were about a third of the way up. You were better prepared for that climb than Me. I was struggling and I looked down and I said “we’re pretty high up” to which you responded “ not as high as my credit score”. We laughed and climbed. Those were the days...anyways take care of my sister.

My first introduction to Linda was her giving me a “questionnaire” to date her brother. I instantly felt connected to her as I’m sure so many people do with her warmth, transparency, integrity, compassion... and her ability to make everyone laugh!! I admire Linda’s spirit of adventure and the way she and Brian light each other up. I see Linda radiate true hope, joy, fun and the love of God in every situation. She is truly a dear sister, friend and amazing Tia to our little boy! I’m honored to be a part of this exciting journey together with Brian!

I remember the first impression I had of Brian was that he seemed very genuine. It was important to me that my little sister chose someone who would prioritize her and care for her unconditionally. I saw that in Brian. From the beginning Brian has fit in perfectly with our crazy family. I’m excited for their future!

Linda and I have known each other since high school, but became really good friends our first 2 years of college at CSUSM. She was a social butterfly who loved adventure, and I was an anti-social nerd, so naturally we decided to hang out more. Linda helped me break out of my shell and try new, exciting things, while I helped her focus on her studies and reminded her it was ok to take a breather once in a while. We shared SO many laughs, tears, and adventures in our 2 years together, and I truly am thankful for our friendship. I am beyond excited to join Linda and Brian in celebrating their love, and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them.

Linda and I met working together at Costco in Texas. I started working in the food court and she would come in and help make pizzas every now and then. She was a little bossy at work so we didn’t talk much, but we began to hangout in a group after work and we got to know each other and quickly became friends. In 2018 Linda and I decided to be roommates, and it was the best decision I have ever made. We went on so many adventures and made memories that I will never forget. Traveling, watching our favorite shows, taking naps , going to the movies and eating popcorn with peanut m&ms. It was always a great time. I don’t know how I was living life without her. She makes the most simplest days the greatest and I’m so grateful that my daughter and I get to have someone so amazing in our life!

Linda & I met at CSUSM. Going to CSUSM was both of our 1st times away from home & luckily we had mutual friends who encouraged us to meet up with one another. We both started college as pre-nursing majors, quickly making Linda the Ying to my Yang. Linda & I spent many days and nights studying, laughing, crying, and studying some more. I would diligently take notes & Linda would ask the questions I was too scared to ask. We balanced each other perfectly. & although neither of us ended up becoming nurses, it was a time I look back on and can’t help but smile. No matter the distance or time spent apart, Linda always remains a constant of support and encouragement in my life. I remember the days we would dream about your future husband and I am SO happy you found your forever. Love you Linda!

Brian and I met each other at costco and soon formed a bond; forged and tempered in the gauntlet of modern retail. We have shared many highs and lows, valleys and peaks, trials and tribulations. I am honored to be invited to celebrate his and Linda’s love as his groomsmen. I am honored to call him my friend.

Linda & I met in the 9th grade when we were chosen to be in our friend’s quincenera. This is where we learned how to have rhythm and do the “Mexican call.” Lol! We spent so much time together & soon became inseparable best friends. I am so lucky to have someone like Linda. She is a beauty queen, a teacher, a full on fighter, & a true unwavering friend. She has an inspirational attitude towards confronting challenges head on & I love her for it. She is extremely intelligent & has taken every hurdle life has given her, which has shown how amazing she is and excels in every aspect of life! She is the reason that I know that you can always overcome anything. She deserves a life of pure love and happiness and nothing short of that. I am so excited to stand alongside her on her wedding day!

I met Brian in 2013 when we started working together at Costco. We started hanging out and grew close, and have been that way ever since. I am honored to be a part of Brian and Linda’s big day, and am so happy that they both found the person they want to spend the rest of their life with!

Linda and I first met while working at Costco. We didn’t talk much at work, but were brought together at a fun work volleyball game. While secretly confessing to my ex-boyfriend that my sister and I thought Linda (and Krista) were cool and that we wanted to be friends with them, he took it upon himself to shout across the field at Linda and Krista revealing our secret to them. Ever since that very embarrassing moment, Linda has become one of my closest friends. After countless nights of group selfies, spur-of-the-moment road trips, and a short stint of living together, I’ve spent a lot of time with both Linda and Brian and I’m beyond excited for this new chapter in their relationship.

Brian and I started at Costco at pretty much the same time. I thought this guy had a pretty cool name so he might be alright (I was definitely wrong). He instantly became one of best buddies in and out of Costco and I’m very excited on what the future holds for Brian and Linda!

I met Linda while working at Costco. Krista & her were sitting across from me at lunch one day & I decided to introduce myself to them. That’s not something I usually do, but something just told me we should be friends. I really liked how nice and down to earth they were. One day at a Costco employee event they walked in, & I whispered to my sister “my friends are here”. She seemed confused. I remember telling her that she should meet Linda & Krista because I talked with them the day before & I would love for us to all be friends. (That is where Renee’s story picks up) After her ex-boyfriend shouted to them across the volleyball field, they came over & the rest is history. I am so happy for Brian and Linda. They are beyond perfect for each other and I am so happy they found each other!

Me and Brian had the luxury of meeting a little over 5 years ago in a place you go to shop, and feed a family of 20, all while purchasing tires for your 20 year old car, yes, we met at Costco. Over the course of a few seconds, we discovered that we had a ton of similar interests such as sports, whiskey, and providing excellent member service for the members at work.... shortly we became the best of buddy’s and I am overwhelmed with excitement to watch this beautiful journey of marriage unfold between Him and Linda!

Where do I even begin with Linda? There’s so much I can say. I met Linda when i was 16. I was new to school & she was one of the first people to introduce herself to me & gave me a friend. I’m so grateful she did. She has been such a blessing in my life for the last 10 years. She is the type of person every human should aspire to be like. She is an amazing woman & an amazing friend. She makes you want to be a better person without even trying. She helps you find strength & courage that you didn’t know you had just by being in your life. She has been a part of so many of my firsts in life. Thank you Linda for all of the memories & for letting me be a part of so many of yours & this big one! I am so excited to be able to see her get married & to have all the happiness she deserves in life.

Linda & I had a very spontaneous connection since day one. We met in our 9th grade Geometry class and I asked her to be in my quinceañera. Shortly after a few quince practices she learned that I listen more to my middle name than my first name so she got creative & gave me a whole new name, Desari. Since then we became really great friends. I learned so many great things from Linda (with some help of her family as well) since then, like how to use sarcasm as humor or how to have patience and respect in unexpected situations, & most importantly how to be a better version of myself even in the most tough times. Linda has always been there for me no matter how many miles separate us and I will always be there for her. I am grateful to stand by her side on April 18, 2020 with pride.
