As freshmen in high school Linda and Jacob were estranged acquaintances sharing multiple classes and never became closer friends until nearing the end of the school year. Sophomore year came and went quickly, but throughout the year Linda was increasinly captivated by Jacob's humor and intelligence. Two months prior to the end of the year, after messaging every night for hours on end on Facebook, Jacob and Linda decided over lunch period to be an official couple. From then on it was long conversations and before they knew it, it was time to go to college. Being intelligent and practical, the two decided to split up for college, knowing that many high school loves don't last. After no more than a week did the two decide this was a terrible idea, reverting back to their exclusive relationship they had loved so much.
