What is the attire?
Answer
The wedding party will be in cocktail attire. Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in, from nautical casual to cocktail. The venue is surrounded by water and the pavilion is mostly open, so there is a constant breeze. FYI the venue is on a true dock, so stiletto style heels are not recommended!

Does the venue have parking?
Answer
The wedding will have complementary valet service for parking. Many hotels have shuttles to downtown and there are Ubers as well. If you do not want to drive, the Newport Harbor water taxi runs from downtown and makes a stop at Goat Island near the venue. Is the venue an active marina?
Answer
YES! There will be beautiful boats all around. It is very important that no one touches or tries to board any of the boats. They are personal property and do not belong to the venue. Because of the breeze, there is NO SMOKING at or around the venue. Thank you for understanding.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Please see our travel page for a few of the many accommodations in and around Newport. Since the Folk Festival is the same weekend, we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible. We have room blocks at the Hampton Inn & Suites as well as the Homewood Suites. These options are discounted but slightly further from the venue than hotels in downtown.
Question
Can my child come to the wedding?
Answer
We don't recommend bringing children - the venue is on a marina with many docks that do not all have railings. Children would need to be in arms reach of their parent and cannot climb onto docked boats. Additionally, the welcome gathering is 21+ since it is at a local music bar.
