Homewood Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown
If you want the Tuscaloosa experience and don't mind the 50 minute drive to the wedding venue, we have reserved a block of rooms at Homewood Suites in downtown Tuscaloosa. They offer a free hot breakfast and also have a rooftop restaurant and bar. Each suite has a full kitchen that includes a stove top, full-size frig, microwave, dishes, and a dishwasher. There is also a fitness center, game room, outdoor pool, free parking, and wifi. Downtown Tuscaloosa features restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife, and retail (all within walking distance of the hotel). You can stroll to the Tuscaloosa River Walk from the hotel, and the University of Alabama campus is only 1.6 miles away. The blocks will be released one month before the wedding, but I would reserve as early as possible as June is a busy time in Tuscaloosa. Birmingham-Shuttleworth International Airport (BHM)
Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) is about 60 miles east of Tuscaloosa. Southwest, Delta, and American are the most used airlines.

Golden Triangle Regional Airport in Columbus, MS (GTR)
GTR is about 30 minutes west of Ethelsville where the venue is located. Delta is the only airline with flights in and out of Columbus.

The hotel with the best reviews and decent price in Columbus was Hyatt Place, but there are others.
