Joey and Lily met in 2017, living their best lives with the exception of one: their love lives. Joey had moved to Las Vegas to start a company, but his love life was as parched as the air around him. Lily was in Los Angeles and had no problem meeting new people, but her love life was as dry as the so-called "river" of Los Angeles. But while wandering through the barren desert, Joey visualized a girl in a red summer dress. A few days later, through a technological glitch that remains a mystery to this day, he got an app notification that someone 300 miles away likes you (true story: neither of us remember "liking" the other person), and we kid you not, there was the girl in the red summer dress. Joey, a dehydrating cup of coffee. Lily, a dehydrated bagel. Coffee meets bagel, two negatives make a positive, and our love lives were dry no more.

O-Town told us to want it all or nothing at all, and with persistence and even more luck, we finally stumbled into each other. To describe our love from day 1, we were two peas in a pod. We do everything together whether it’s gazing into nature with old school jazz and spiked hot chocolate, acting a fool together, or playing PUBG without an ounce of shame. We both believe in working hard to make our time together a celebration of life in its purest and simplest form. Joey is often deadpan, and Lily is a hyper jokester. Joey is always minimalist, and Lily loves mid century modern and thinks Joey lives like a bachelor. Joey always eats the same thing like a caveman, and Lily never knows what she wants to eat. But together, we have a great time, our chemistry is always palpable, and we always feel high on life after being together. Every date is “the best date ever” no matter where we go or what we do. Oftentimes the best moments were hanging out in the back of our truck gazing out at a body of water and talking hopes and dreams. The way Joey puts it, “Lily gets bored of everything besides me.” And with Lily, Joey never fears an awkward silence because soon Lily will break out into song and dance. For two strong-willed and free-spirited individuals, we are each others’ Achilles heels that put each other in quarantine before the mandatory lockdown. Joey had to make Lily the Lord of the Ring.
