Grace has been Lily's bestfriend since freshman year of highschool. Lily is so grateful to have a friend as beautiful, kind, loyal and funny as Grace. Grace has dedicated her life to helping people with addictions turn their lives around and adjusting back to society. She likes long walks along the green cliffs of Ireland where she lives with her husband Shane, an avid fisherman, and her chicken named Mia.
Nick Schafer

I asked Colin when he and Nick met and he couldn’t tell me. That shows just how bad Colin’s memory is, or it shows how Nick has always been such a big part of Colin’s life that he can’t remember a time without him. For 15 years the boys really lived and made some of the craziest memories that would forever make up great conversations and cherished memories. They lived in four states together eventually landing in California where Nick met his wife. Very nice.
Jami Dohlen
Bridesmaid
Jami is Lily's third oldest sister and mom to the beautiful flower girl Everly. Jami might actually be the whole reason this wedding is happening in the first place. It was Jami that gave Lily a job on the hill (Aunt Peggy will say it was her that got Jami living in Honeydew in the first place so we can all thank Aunt Peggy for the wedding happening too). Jami had known all of the "eligible" bachelors on the hill and she said that by far Colin was always the cleanest and best one to talk too. So big thankyou to Jami (and Lars too) for giving Lily a job and introducing her to Colin.
Travis Paschall

Nick introduced Colin and Nick in high school and the three of them have been inseparable since. Colin had hit Nick up asking what he was doing and Nick told him to meet him at Travis house. Colin walked in the door and was immediately assaulted by the notorious wiener dogs at Travis's house. Thats when Travis's dad Duncan called the wieners a three letter word, everyone laughed, and the boys have gone on to spend the second half of their lives together. RIP Duncan Paschall
Jessi Dohlen

Jessi is the youngest of the three girls, she lives in Cambria with her son Ethan with her Italian stallion husband that she also met in Honeydew (I don't know why this is the only place Dohlen women find their husbands). It was at Jessi and Fede's wedding that Lily and Colin first had a "date", Lily subtly asked colin every day for several weeks if he was going to be at the wedding and if he was going to get dressed up. Very casually laying the groundwork to have a dress-up date with the him. So big thankyou to Jessi and Fede for falling in love and getting married and having a wedding that ended with an all out search party for Lily, only for Howard to find Lily with Colin hanging out in his Jeep.
Jesse Hoffman

Fresh out of highschool Travis, Nick and Colin moved to the ghetto of Jacksonvillle Florida. The three were pretty broke and all took a chance and applied to sell kirby vacuums, this is where they first met Jesse. You should ask the boys for more details of their times selling Kirbys becuase it will be some of the best stories you've ever heard. None of them lasted long there, thank god. A couple years later the boys were out to eat and Colin couldnt stop making eyes at the cute server, this also turned out to be Jesse again. Even longer down the road, Jesse was driving through California and his truck broke down, not having any close family around he took a chance and Nick, Colin and Travis took him in, got him a job and the four of them havent stopped being brothers since.
Howard and Katrina
Parents of the Bride
Howard and Katrina have spent 30 years raising five kids together, Lily being the youngest. When Howard and Katrina finally met their future son in law it took about 10 minutes of them talking before Katrina pulled Lily aside and said she liked the boy. Howard also liked the boy and he showed this by keeping Colin up until 3 in the morning sharing darts, beers and stories.
Joe and Sue
Parents of the Groom
Joe and Sue have three boys and 36 years if marriage under their belt, Colin being their youngest. Lily met Joe and Sue for the first time in September of 2021. Colin had brought her home to introduce her to his family to make absolutely certain she wanted to move to Michigan with him the following month. They were all hanging out on the porch smoking and talking, Colin ran out of cigarettes and asked Lily for one while complaining about her choice of cigarettes at the same time. Lily turned to Colin in front of Joe, Sue and Trevor and told him, "Quit your bitching, you're the one that ran out of cigarettes." Joe turned to Sue beaming and said "I like her!"
