Cherry Capitol Airport

This is the closest airport to fly into, only a 30 minute drive from the bride and grooms house, and the ceremony/reception. If you are flying in and need to be picked up/dropped off reach out to the bride to plan that ahead of time.

Traverse City

Traverse City is where the airport is located. It's closer to a 30-40 minutes drive depending on where you stay. There are plenty of waterfront hotels and the Turtle Creek casino and resort has plenty of rooms as well.

Fife Lake

Fife lake is the closest town with any lodging. It's a 7-minute drive to the reception and ceremony and 10 minutes to the bride and groom's house. The website link includes condos and Airbnb's for rent, most of them lakeside. It's a busy but beautiful time of year so we recommend booking ahead of time if this is where you want to stay. Fife Lake is a small village, with a grocery store, and a couple of restaurants. If you go to Fife Lake Inn while there tell them to bring back the frickles.

This hotel/resort in Kalkaska is a 15-20 minute drive to the ceremony/reception. Kalkaska is bigger than Fife Lake too, with a grocery store, bar and multiple restaurants to choose from.
