Question

What are you doing for COVID-19 mitigation?

Answer

We understand that big crowds can be a very scary thing right now, especially for the at-risk guests. As mentioned in the banner, we are requesting that all guests be vaccinated and take a COVID test prior to attending the wedding. We will not be policing this, but trust that all of you will fulfill these wishes. While there isn’t really a way for us to require it, we are strongly advising that everyone wear a mask while in attendance, especially when moving about the venue. We will be making a seating chart to keep families and people who live together, or are from the same region, together. The vow renewal ceremony will take place outside and there are many open air spaces at the venue for guests to take advantage of. There will also be plenty of hand sanitizer stations scattered throughout the venue so please use those as often as you can!

Question

If I’m unvaccinated, am I allowed to attend?

Answer

You may attend as long as you have a negative COVID test 48-72 hours prior to the event.

Question

Where can we park?

Answer

There is free onsite parking at Shadow Creek!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome event - we recommend cocktail attire. Ceremony - this event is semi formal. For the men, we recommend slacks instead of jeans and a button down instead of a polo (ties are not required, just suggested). For the ladies, we recommend skirts, dresses or slacks. The Bride kindly requests that you stay away from white or ivory dresses. Please keep in mind that it will likely be chilly! Bring layers so that you can be comfortable both indoors and outdoors!

Question

What kind of food will be available?

Answer

Welcome event - We will be offering a buffet style meal to welcome all of our guests. Please drop in any time! Cocktail hour - There will an assortment of passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Reception - We will be enjoying a family style meal to include two protein options, a starch and a veggie. Following our meal and other festivities, we welcome you to enjoy our wedding cake, other sweet treats and coffee and tea. Please reach out to Lily (703-939-4978) if you would like to request a vegetarian meal.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

If your kids are included on the invitation, bring them along! In order to save space, only the kids of immediate family and of the wedding party will be allowed to attend.

Question

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

There will not be transportation to and from the venue. We recommend taking an uber!

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October, 7 2021.

For all the days along the way
