Get lost forever in the beauty in the heart of the city. Make sure you look up and see all the different species of plants that make our forests special. Bonus points if you stop at Witch's Castle where Locke, Lilly, and the rest of their high school friends would frequent in the late hours of the night for ya know.... studying... Cheers!
Conservation efforts are key. There is a new baby elephant Tula-Tu and Baby Orangutan Jolene!
Take I-84 through the Gorge and into Hood River, continue on to The Fruit Loop and stop at local fruit/farm stands. Our favorite farm is Draper Girls Country Farm. End the trip at Timberline Lodge before going back into Portland. This trip never gets old for us :)
