We ask for fall cocktail attire, but please wear whatever you feel best in.
You may want to arrive a few minutes before the ceremony start time to take a look around. The Powel House was built in 1765, for Elizabeth and Samuel Powel (former mayor of Philadelphia). It is now open to the public as a historic landmark - George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams all dined there!
Our ceremony will still be held outside and we have secured a tent for such an occasion. If the weather does turn, that’s good luck, right?
We will arrange for a few private cars to transport guests from the Powel House to the Moshulu. However, we would like to reserve these for our grandparents.
