Best Man
Justin is Alex's oldest, childhood & adult best friend. Justin and Alex grew up just one street down the road. Justin is undeniably Alex's classiest friend and best role model. He brings out the competitor in Alex. Both of these guys graduated from JMU and moved back to Charlottesville, living out their 20's making mainly good and only a few bad decisions. Justin and Alex share many interests, but their mutual love of Charlottesville is at the top of the list. Underneath their mutual interests are also their passion of; food, wine, beer, DMB, live music, local real estate, UVA & JMU sports. Justin is truly one of the few people that has been along for the entire ride. These two share countless stories over a lifetime of friendship. Justin refers to Lillie as a "Saint" because she is.
Marc Bonbrest

Marc is Alex's second oldest childhood best friend. Growing up just one street away for most of their childhood, and attending school together, these two might have been known for causing a few acts of mischief. Charlottesville is a small town and coincidentally, these two guys have somehow lived in 3 different neighborhoods at the same time over the years. Eventually growing up and maturing into young men on differing paths, the two reconnected when Marc moved home from upstate NY 7 years ago. Their strongest bond is their love of the outdoors and music. Marc and Alex have as many stories as Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Whether its hiking, fishing, or floating the river, these two have enjoyed many memories set to a soundtrack of Southern Rock hits.
Darryl Moran

Darryl and Alex met through Zander during Alex's sophomore year at JMU. Darryl is Alex's oldest, wisest, and most Uncle-like friend. He is a Jedi of advice in understanding people and the universe. Darryl is largely responsible for Alex growing up and making his own path in life. When faced to move out West or settle for a non passionate career, Darryl encouraged Alex to take a less conventional route that allowed him to later find his career in real estate organically. Darryl has passed down his knowledge of swimming holes, road trips, camping spots, and snowboarding adventures. Friends for a decade now, they have countless memories backstage at music festivals and rambling on and on about everything and nothing. Darryl most importantly taught Alex that when you give, you begin to live.
Zander Luke
Groomsman
Alex (Zander) Luke and Alex met in middle school and have remained friends ever since. Initially these two bonded over guitars and skateboards but as they got older the two matured as did their friendship. Zander is perhaps the most talkative of the groomsmen and he will keep you engaged in any conversation on any topic. Although, every now and then you might need to tell him to shut up. Data analyst by day and rock star by night, Zander is a multi talented individual. Zander and Alex have shared many of the same life experiences and as most good friends, relate to one another on countless topics. He's seen the good, the bad, the ski bum turn into a realtor, and always answered the phone when Alex needed it the most. These two guys pride themselves on their ability to make others laugh.
James Swofford

James and Alex met in middle school and combined with Zander, these three create the most ADHD trifecta there is. These two both attended a transformative wilderness boarding school during high school and miraculously came out causing less trouble than before. Being more of the introvert of the group and equipped with an engineer brain, James is known for spending time to himself tinkering on cars and electronics. If something needs to be fixed, James will find a way. James is one of the few groomsmen that was friends with Lillie prior to meeting Alex and has always fit in well with them. James is currently Alex and Lillie's closest neighbor.
Tommy Inthisen

Tommy is yet another friend of Alex's that met in middle school and remained friends thru college at JMU and after. Tommy's family owned a Thai Restaurant in town that served as the groups hang out and employment. Tommy, along with his native Thai family, and many other friends, worked together for several years. It was at this restaurant where Alex refined many of his service industry skills and learned to be apart of a family-business environment. Tommy's family truly took Alex in despite his quirkiness. These two guys have most connected with their mutual passions of food, DMB and fishing. Tommy is as chill as a cucumber and brings a calm confidence to their friendship and the group.
Sean Sharff
Groomsman
Sean and Alex were Psychology majors at JMU. After attending several classes and establishing a similar commute, these two started hanging outside of class. Coincidentally Sean lived next to the Charlottesville JMU guys apartment at JMU and Alex never had to travel far in between. Sean and Alex have connected most over psychology, philosophy, music, and the great outdoors. These two spent countless hours on the quad at JMU and even more time skipping class to go camping amongst the mountains of Harrisonburg & West VA. Sean is responsible for introducing Chris Sheppard and the three of them have gone on annual backpacking trips all over. Sean and his girlfriend Lindsay even went on to hike the entire Appalachian Trail in 2017. The best attribute of Sean is that he is a forever optimist.
Chris Sheppard
Groomsman
Chris Sheppard met Alex thru Sean at JMU and they all became instant best friends. Many beers and camping trips later, these two have aged in their friendship like a barrel aged whiskey. A native of Richmond, VA allowed Alex and Chris to stay in close touch after college, despite how many "your mom" jokes have been made between the two. Whether its sampling tasty brews or planning the next travel excursion, these two are often on the same wavelength. Chris is calm, cool, Colombian, and collected while also being the most contagiously exciting and driven guy of the group. If there's a problem needing solved, he will solve it. Chris has been Alex's chief financial advisor and encouraged him to start his own business taking the leap into real estate. Chris and his wife Carmen live in Denver.
Pat Madden
Groomsman
Patrick and Alex attended high school at Fork Union Military Academy together. Under the tutelage of Patrick, Alex adapted to life at FUMA and is largely responsible for him finding friendship and success there. Bonding over the love of playing guitar, these two have jammed together for a long time, mainly of course, to Dave Matthews Band. Pat and Alex have attended more DMB concerts than they can count and have countless stories to go along. These two have grown up together, matured like a distinguished aged wine, and are always able to pick up the conversation right where it left off. Patrick has lived internationally and currently resides in California but this has never stopped his yearly visits to Alex, Lillie, & Scout in Charlottesville. Perhaps one day he will move here?
Bonnie Adams
Maid of Honor
Bonnie is Lillie's big sister and best friend since day one. Lillie spent most of her childhood trying to be just like Bonnie, following her around and getting into her things when she wasn't looking. Even with a five year age gap, they've always been thick as thieves, through the ups and downs of life. She and Lillie have made a lot of hilarious videos, been on hundreds of dog walking adventures, and have never been far apart. Bonnie knows Lillie better than most people, and has always been there to make her laugh. Bonnie taught Lillie how to punch, to love 90s alternative rock, and that being silly is a lot more fun than taking yourself too seriously. Bonnie lives in a cute house in Belmont with her boyfriend Nick, puppy Hinto, kitty Martel and a menagerie of fish.
Lauren Converse

Lauren and Lillie met on the first day of high school, both new students at Tandem Friends School. They were fast friends, sharing a love of Bigfoot, B-movies, and baking cakes. Lillie only spent one year at Tandem, but stayed close by when she moved across the street to MHS. Since then, their effortless relationship grew as they navigated growing up together. Lauren is so very true to herself, and has inspired Lillie time and time again to do the same. They lived together for 2 years before Lauren moved to Missoula, MT. Lillie doesn't get to see Lauren as often, but has found another home in MT. They make the most of every visit with hiking, breweries, and watching all their favorite movies. Lauren lives in Missoula with her husband Peter, wise pup Wallace, and kitty Major.
Becca Adams

Becca is Lillie's cousin, but is more like a sister. She grew up next to Lillie and Bonnie, and it made for a fun and adventurous childhood. Lillie's parents found her at least once walking down the driveway as a toddler, to visit her aunt, uncle and cousin next door. It's safe to say they were never apart for too long. Since Rebecca went to school at Rhode Island School of Design, Bonnie and Lillie only get to see her a few times a year. Reunions typically result in playing pool, drinking wine, and watching SVU. Time doesn't seem to pass, and they pick up where they left off. Rebecca is laid back and so much fun to be around, and always a breath of fresh air when they're all together. Rebecca is an artist in Rhode Island with her fiancé Steven, and kitty Eddie.
Rachel Sligar

Rachel and Lillie met through a friend in 2016, and quickly decided to be friends based on a love of Disney and dogs. They clicked right away, and have since spent countless nights sipping wine, eating cheese and cracking each other up. Rachel and Lillie are very similar, which makes their relationship an easy and honest one. There is nothing they can't talk to each other about, and can spend hours doing so. Alex is also close friends with Rachel, so these three have spent a lot of time together over the years. They call her 'Mother Goose', because she knows everything and is an excellent cook. Rachel is always ready to spend time together, even if that means doing nothing at all. Rachel currently lives in Charlottesville, VA with her very vocally talented German Shepherd, Tula.
Laura Matheny

Laura trained Lillie when she first started working at the Pippin Hill Tasting Room in 2014. Lillie was a bit intimidated by Laura at first; she was full of confidence and had a no nonsense attitude. Over the years, they got closer and officially became each other's Work Wife. Laura and Lillie are opposite in as many ways as they are alike, and balance each other out. Just about every day they get to be together and make each other laugh. Laura helps Lillie to have confidence and speak up, and is always there for her. Laura lives in Batesville, VA with her husband Justen and adorable sons Colton and Weston. She is an incredible mother and friend, and has been one of the very best things to have come from working at Pippin Hill!
Laura Deal

Laura and Lillie met on the first day of kindergarten at Cale Elementary, and have been friends ever since. Over the years, they've bonded over music, Friends, and the 90's. Laura showed Lillie scary movies for the first time a monumental thing). When they were middle school they even made one together with Nina and Jordan in Redfields (it was pretty good). They were in school together through college at VCU. Since then they've moved farther apart physically and see each other less, but still have a blast when they get to reunite each year with Nina, Jordan, and Jordan's mom, Jodi. Laura is hilarious, fun, and always has the best soundtrack for whatever the group is doing. Laura is from Charlottesville, and now lives in Philadelphia, PA with her fiancé, Adam, and pup Juneau.
Jordan Denny

Jordan and Lillie met in the 2nd grade, after Jordan moved to Charlottesville. Lillie was already best friends with Laura, and they weren't in the market for more friends. However, Jordan made the cut, and they all quickly became inseparable. Jordan and Lillie shared a love of all things magic, and invested a lot of time in learning how to become wizards. This did happen to include practicing spells and levitation. Jordan and Lillie went to school together through college, and have never been too far apart. She's always ready for an adventurous outing and will get the group hyped up. Jordan is creative, kind, and her fun loving attitude is contagious. Jordan lives in Richmond, VA with her husband Ross and pups Grip and Romeo (plus a few chickens).
Nina Radakovic

Nina and Lillie met in the 4th grade when Nina's family moved to Charlottesville. One day Lillie had a snot bubble, and Nina thought it was hysterical, so of course they then became friends. Jordan, Laura and Lillie already had established themselves as a threesome that didn't need anymore friends, but when Nina came along they accepted her immediately. They went through middle and high school together, and both stayed closeby with Nina at UVA and Lillie at VCU. Through the years, they've been able to meet periodically and still seem to have lost no time. Nina is infectiously positive and always ready to do something fun. Nina lives in Durham, NC with her husband Patrick and sweet pup Molly.
