If you find yourself in Nederland, Colorado, you MUST swing by Decent Bagels! Run by New York natives, it's a taste of the Big Apple in the Rockies. After, we suggest heading over to Brainard Lake!
Brainard Lake Trails
Our top Colorado hiking spot! Despite a $10-15 parking reservation fee, it's worth every penny. We've spotted dozens of moose, enjoyed stunning waterfalls and creeks, and taken in breathtaking views. Choose between Lake Isabelle, Mitchell Lake, or Blue Lake trails on AllTrails for either an easy 1-2 mile round trip hike or a moderate 5-6 mile round trip hike, with options to turn back at your leisure. Lake Dillon
Just beyond the ranch turnoff, you'll discover the vibrant Frisco/Lake Dillon/Silverthorne area! Rent a SUP, kayak, or join a guided tour to explore the scenic channels and islands of Lake Dillon. Don't miss the 18-mile bike path encircling the lake—pick up a bike in Dillon or Frisco and cap off your day with delicious dining in town! Start your morning at Rocky Mountain Coffee Roasters and savor dinner at 5th Avenue Grille for a delightful culinary experience.
