Ali & Alex

Gold DropsGold Drops

Wedding Party

Meet our family & friends who are walking down the aisle with us

Meredith

Matron of Honor

Ali and Meredith have been "bessssssst friends" since high school, when they spent their time drawing on Coffee Beanery napkins, contemplating the life story of our favorite barista Becky, and listening to a seemingly random Fall Out Boy CD on repeat in Ali's minivan. Since they live about 80,000 miles apart now (that's just a guesstimation), a big part of their adult relationship involves Ali trying to get Meredith to join Snapchat, sending each other letters (that include pretty pictures we've colored), and talking on the phone while Ali drives erratically. They no longer listen to Fall Out Boy, but they do still wonder about Becky.

Will

Best Man

Alex has known Will since he was five years old and not much has changed since. The two always seem to find an adventure or trouble. Even if they haven't seen each other in years, it's always easy for them to pick up where they left off. Through all the years, the two still find a way to fly or drive to one another for a visit every so often. Distance will never keep family apart.

Megan

Maid of Honor

Megan and Ali were roommates during college. They often found themselves being each other's biggest instigator. No matter the situation, their friendship mantra has always been: What can we do to make this situation better? Whether it be getting through all-nighters by having a dance party or amping up going to concerts with DIY t-shirts. Their last adventure involved wearing green summo suits on St. Patty's day in Whilster, Canada.

Derek

Groomsman

Derek is Ali and Alex's matchmaker, so naturally, he's a groomsman. Derek and Alex are fraternity brothers, but have also been living in the DC area since 2011 and making the city their playground. You know that somebody is true friend if you'd be happy to call them a travel companion. Derek, Ali and Alex have embarked on extended vacations from San Francisco to Hilton Head Island.

Mckenzie

Bridesmaid

Some of the strongest friendships are rooted from summer camp: McKenzie and Ali are a perfect example of that. Spending summers together consisted of cabins that became homes, late night raids of the kitchen (in search for rice crispy treats or potato salad), stargazing under the Up North sky and laughing until their sides hurt. Although camp has been their foundation, they have become a huge part of each other's lives, as friends sometimes do, when they become family.

Dave

Groomsman

In Phi Sigma Kappa, we're taught to always help a brother in need. When Dave moved to DC from Okinawa, Japan, Alex made sure that Dave knew he was always open to getting together. The two got together in DC for cocktails and the rest is history. When Alex needed a roommate, Dave was more than happy to move into a new condo complex with Alex. Between umbrella air guitar at the bar to being roommates for two years, there are plenty of stories and good times that the two have shared.

Lindsey

Bridesmaid

Lindsey and Ali survived pharmacy school together. They were suitemates in the dorms, neighbors on campus, and roommates in grad school. Throughout the years of living together they have seen a lot of things come and go: classes, apartments, roommates (including Lily, Lindsey's bunny), cities... but their friendship was not among those. Both Lindsey and Ali moved out of their home state after graduation, but their friendship never faltered. They are each other's biggest ally and also each other's toughest devil's advocate.

Rob

Groomsman

Alex has known Rob ever since elementary school. The two played soccer together on the Clarkston Impact and became close friends after Alex visited Rob at Adrian College. Whether Rob's parents liked it or not, Alex spent the summer of 2009 practically living at the Zielinski's house, probably watching Step Brothers at least twice a day. DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS? YEP!!!

Emily

Bridesmaid

Youngest sister and biggest "button-pusher", Emily has always been the one to make Ali laugh. Emily would describe herself as the "yin" to Ai's "yang", and even though they are opposite in many ways, they always know how to have a good time together. Ali has taken the typical "Big Sister" role, like teaching Emily how to play tennis, picking up her apartment whenever she's over, and even being the Godmother of Emily's two children. On the flipside, Emily has fulfilled the "Little Sister" role, by always keeping Ali on her toes by jumping out and scaring her out of blue, calling her at wee hours to ask for advice, and taking the blame for the cookies Ali left to burn in the oven. Just like ying and yang, these two wouldn't be complete without each other.

Adam

Groomsman

Adam has grown into a fine young gentleman and as luck would have it, a Maryland resident. Adam is already a well accomplished person at his young age, having graduated from Lawrence Tech University and landing a job as an Engineer and researcher for the Naval Air Force Systems Command. Adam can usually be found sleeping on the pull out couch at Ali and Alex's apartment, and he'll always be welcome.

Angela

Bridesmaid

Growing up, Ali and Angela enjoyed their love of soccer together. They were a perfect combo: Angie being a goalie and Ali being a forward. Off the field they liked to be creative, spending hours scrapbooking, painting nails and making up crafts to do. After Angie moved to Georgia, they had many phone dates, being there for each other for advice and support. Through the years they turned a friendship into a wonderful sister bond. Who say blood defines family? Not us.

Scott

Groomsman

You could say that Scott is the type of guy that marches to the beat of his own drum, and you'd be right. Taking to the skills he learned from his Dad, Scott is street smart, knows how to work with his hands, and is able to solve mechanical problems with practical solutions. Emotions don't usually come easy for men, but you can always bet that Scott cares a great deal for his family and friends and we care a great deal for him.

Ashley

Bridesmaid

If there’s one thing Ashley will hang over Ali’s head, it’s that she is, and always will be the “older sister” (by one day). Ashley and Ali actually met at Camp Gordonwood when they were in elementary scool. They were put in the same cabin and- like camp friends do- picked up their friendship at the start of every camp season. Who would've thought they would become sisters in middle school!

Eric

Groomsman

You'll be hard pressed to find a young teenager who could talk to you about investing and has taken a ride in a McLaren. If you're looking to practice your debating skills, I suggest talking to Eric. He's undefeated in debates because he's always right, or at least that's what he'd tell you. I'm proud to call him my brother, and that can't be debated.
