Where can I park at Christ Church Detroit for the ceremony?

Answer

There is ample parking, free and guarded, in the surface lot beside the church, and in the larger surface lot at the rear of the church (across the street). Both lots are accessed from Woodbridge Street. On Sundays, you can enter the side parking lot directly from Jefferson Avenue.

How much is parking at the Detroit Athletic Club

Answer

Parking Onsite - Self Park Parking: $10 - Valet Parking: $12 Pro Tip: If you are staying in the Westin Book Cadillac hotel or Holiday Inn (hotels listed on our site), it would be best to Uber to the DAC for our reception. There will be a complementary shuttle available to our guests staying in nearby hotels from 10:30 pm - 2:30 am.

Where can I park for the Welcome Party at Granite City?

$5: Beaubien Place Garage (Atwater & St. Antoine) $10: Marriott Hotel and Granite City Food & Brewery Entrances (Renaissance Drive West) You must valet to receive special rate *Important Note* To receive special valet rate, simply show your valet ticket to your restaurant server and you will receive a special validation sticker to take advantage of these valet rates. When picking up your vehicle, you will need to present both the ticket and the validation sticker to the Valet Cashier

Should I bring my ID to the reception?

Answer

YES! No matter your age, if you plan on having an alcoholic drink from the open bar, bring your ID or you will not be served.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The DAC enforces a strict dress code policy. No denim clothing of any color or style is permitted at anytime on Club property. Flip-flops are also not allowed in the Club. Professional Business Attire is required for ladies and gentlemen: business suits, sport coat or blazer and tie for men and suits, pantsuits, dresses, blazers and tailored slacks for women.

Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!
