Have a nice pint in this historic pub!
One of England's finest.
The Great Hall, “one of the finest surviving halls of the 13th century”, contains the greatest symbol of medieval mythology, King Arthur’s Round Table, and is all that now remains of Winchester Castle.
Nicest coffee in town.
Michelin Star, great unpretentious food & atmosphere. We ate our first (and last) foraged mogwart here!
Beer flights & tacos.
Japanese treat.
A nearby National Trust house.
A bit further afield, but well worth a visit if you have time. Stop at The Pig for a splurge lunch in Brokenhurst after a walk (bookings required).
A famous warship of King Henry VIII at Portsmouth Harbour. A good day trip to the coast if you have extra time.
The best place for fly fishing in England. Our wedding venue has two beats. Late May and early June is popular during the mayfly, so please let us know ASAP if you are interested in booking a day out with a guide.
A nice deli in Stockbridge, a 10 minute drive away from the wedding venue. This could be a good spot for lunch before heading to Houghton Lodge for the wedding on Saturday. It can get busy on weekends, so leave plenty of time.
