Our Story

Libby and Erik first met in late September 2015, when Libby had just moved back to the Twin Cities after six years in the Pacific Northwest. The first time they met was at a bar in St. Paul, supporting the band of one of Erik's old college friends, who Libby had just met a week before. Soon, Libby wormed her way into Erik's welcoming St. Olaf friend group, and their relationship evolved over the course of the year into a close friendship, while both were dating other people. Living together over the summer of 2016 as roommates, they ended up providing each other mutual support as they each sought to define what they were looking for in a life partner. Neither recognized what both of their mother's had already suggested – that they were each other's perfect pair. Finally, in September 2016 they came to their senses and have never looked back. One of their favorite refrains is "We make such a good team." And, over the past nearly six years, this only become more and more true.
