The closest airport to Sun Valley is the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, ID approximately 20 minutes from Ketchum/ Sun Valley. There are direct flights from Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, L.A., San Francisco, and Seattle operating daily.

The Boise Airport (BOI) is a larger airport with a wider selection of flights and often with more affordable fares. The Boise Airport is approximately 2.5 hours from Ketchum/Sun Valley. There is a daily shuttle service between Boise Airport and the Sun Valley Lodge via Sun Valley Express. Advance tickets may be purchased by calling Sun Valley Express (208) 576-7381 or going online to starlinecollection.com/sun-valley-express (Sun Valley Express is not affiliated with Sun Valley Resort). Tickets also may be purchased on the bus at time of departure on a space available basis. Rental cars are also available at the Boise Airport through most of the major rental companies.

Additionally, while staying at the resort guests can use complimentary shuttles for convenient travel within the Sun Valley Village.

Warm Springs and Elkhorn neighborhoods will have options but keep in mind they may require a short drive or bus ride to town.
