We're Getting Married!

2012 ~ Libbie and David met while working at Kings Dominion. He was her supervisor for the day and remembers how she would not help him get down and dirty to clean the moat. She claims she had to "be on deck to help the customers!" 2013-2020 ~ Libbie and David remained friends while living in 2 different cities. For years, they built a strong and beautiful friendship, sharing laughter, adventures, and countless memories. Little did they know, those cherished moments were laying the foundation for the incredible love story that would follow. October 2020 ~ Libbie and David went on a "friend-date" to dinner and ended up sharing feelings for one another. This was just the beginning of their love story. February 2021 ~ After not being able to keep it in any longer, Libbie told David she loved him for the first time. April 2021 ~ While on a trip to Cancun, David told Libbie he loved her for the first time. That was an unforgettable night! May 2022 ~ After surviving a relationship seeing each other only on the weekends, Libbie and David finally moved in together. December 2022 ~ David agreed to allow Libbie to adopt 2 adorable kittens named Bailey and Amaretto. Little did David know how quickly he would fall in love with them too! October 2024 ~ David took Libbie to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. They walked around through the Japanese Gardens and made their way to the gazebo overlooking the lake. As Libbie got excited to look at the Koi fish, she turned around to see David on one knee. He asked her to marry him and she said yes!
