FAQs

Question

Wait, aren't you already married?

Answer

Yes, technically or whatever. We didn't want to let the pandemic put our lives on hold, so we eloped with just the two of us and our pups in Tahoe in September' 20. Now it's time to celebrate with friends and family!

Question

Doesn't that make anniversaries confusing?

Answer

Yes.

Question

Should I be vaccinated against COVID?

Answer

We respect everyone’s personal choices, but we ask that everyone in attendance be vaccinated. This does not include young kids that are not yet able. Vaccine cards (or photos) will be checked on entry to the venue.

Question

What other COVID restrictions are in place?

Answer

In addition to providing your vaccine card on entry, we are strongly encouraging everybody to take a COVID test the week before the event. We will also provide rapid tests at the hotel's front desk and in the lobby of the event if you'd like to test once you get to Sunriver. Currently there is an indoor mask mandate in Oregon, but the requirements are not as stringent for private events like this. Anybody who feels most comfortable wearing a mask is certainly welcome to. We will monitor the state guidance and keep everyone informed closer to the event.

Question

Why Sunriver? It's, like, really far.

Answer

Well, Jaye and I have lived all over the place and we've got friends spread all over the country. So no matter where we put it, a bunch of people are going to have to fly. But Sunriver is a special place for us - we've spent a lot of time here in both summers and winters, skiing, biking, hiking, watching Frankie be insane in the snow, and hanging out by the fire. It's also where we first became 'official' (aww!). Plus, there's a ton of stuff to do here and we think you'll love it as much as we do.

Question

Can I bring my partner and family?

Answer

Yes! Partners and kids are welcome. If your RSVP does not reflect that, then it was likely a mistake on our part. Please feel free to reach out to Jaye at 509-432-5998 and we will sort it out!
