Enjoy this FREE activity with beautiful scenery, a visitor center with exhibits, and easy walks or hiking. This is one of Colorado's most photographed sites and is well worth the visit!
Pikes Peak Cog Railway
You can certainly make the challenging (but beautiful) drive along Pikes Peak Highway to the summit... or save yourself from sweaty palms and stress by taking the cog! Round trip on the cog is approximately 3 hours and we recommend going early in the day. Be sure to stay hydrated as this is one of Colorado's 14ers and you will definitely feel the effects of that elevation. P.S. they aren't kidding when they say the Cog will depart at a certain time with or without you!
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
Great for kids and adults! This is the highest zoo in America and offers spectacular views!
