Is this an Unplugged Ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we are having an "unplugged ceremony." This means we are asking all phones and devices be put away and on silent. We'd love for our guests to be fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we will share our photos as soon as we received them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like and share them with us as we love to see your point of view.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code is Semi formal (no jeans please)! Ladies please reserve any sort of whites, ivory, creams and champagne for the wedding party. Ideally, we would love to see a garden party attire as it's going to be hot around this time. Men can wear black suits, white undershirts if they like! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! We're excited to see what you wear and cant wait to spend time with you!

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding venue is The Lumen House-280 Rowan Rd, Cleveland, NC 27013 The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, please arrive 15 minutes prior.

When is the RSVP deadline

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by June 30th, 2025. Please use the QR scan code to RSVP on your formal invitation. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What should I do if I cant make it

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cockatil hour will be held outside but certain areas are covered along with the bar. The reception will take place indoors.

Is there transportation from the hotel to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have one shuttle bus that can hold up to 20 people. First come, first serve. Please let Heather and Allan know if this is something you're interested in. Pickup will be around 3:15 PM and the drop off from the venue will be start at 9:45 PM. As of today, there are 2 spots left

What if I'm late to the ceremony?

Answer

If you are late to the ceremony, please do not interrupt if the bridal party are in the middle of walking down the aisle. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony starting at 4:30 PM to avoid being late. Thank you for understanding!

Where can I park

Answer

There is on-site self-parking. There are about 50 spots so please carpool if possible.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! We'll have beer, wine, open bar, slushies, create your own mocktails, seltzers and non- alcoholic beverages are on us! Please drink responsibly and make sure you designated your driver as Ubers and Lyfts are not reliable in this area.

Answer

Please designate your driver for the night as there are very limited uber/lyft in the area of the wedding venue.

Can I bring a date / Plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding and keeping our day intimate.
