Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have opted for no children under the age of 16 at our event. We will have save the dates out early so there will be ample time to make babysitting accommodations. Thank you for respecting this decision.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

The number of guests is limited and we have been conservative in allowing plus ones. Our ceremony is in our humble backyard, so our guest count is quite small. Your wedding invitation will notify you how many people in your party are allotted.

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal wear consisting of dresses, jumpsuits, or slacks and a nice shirt. This is a humble wedding in our backyard, but we still want you to look your best! Our ceremony will be in our backyard, and the private dinner will also be outdoors, so be mindful of your shoes.

Is there dinner?

Answer

We have opted to have a private dinner with our immediate family and friends, and have planned to reunite for drinks and dancing with the rest of our guests later in the evening. On the Things To Do tab of the website, we have recommended some local restaurants for you and your family to enjoy a personal dinner. We understand that this is not traditional, so we have some special events planned for family visiting from out of town, when you complete your online RSVP, the website will notify you of all events you have been invited to. **Please review dates of the events you plan to attend so you may make travel plans accordingly.**

Where should I book a hotel?

Answer

Downtown Jacksonville is a great place to stay if you’re looking to be close to food and nightlife. It is an urban area, so just like any downtown you are likely to see homeless people. The neighborhoods of Riverside, Avondale, and San Marco are historic districts with great restaurants as well, and will be a bit quieter than Downtown.

What’s the best way to get around Jacksonville?

Answer

Our ceremony, private dinner, and after party are at separate locations, and Jacksonville does not have reliable public transportation. For those visiting from out of town, we recommend renting a car, carpooling, or using Uber/Lyft.

I can’t make it, do I need to complete the RSVP?

Answer

We understand that asking family from out of town to visit at their cost may not be possible. Please still complete the RSVP and select “Will Not Attend” for all events you are invited to. This will allow us to get a final head count of our guests.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

At cocktail hour immediately following our ceremony, we will be providing drinks for all. After party bar details are TBD.
